L eigh Shannon's career in female impersonation began in Louisville, KY where he was doing impersonations of Dolly Parton and Stevie Nicks. In fact a lot of the awards he has received in the Mid-West was performances in which he transforms, with complete costume changes, from Carol Channing, Dolly Parton & Stevie Nicks in SEVEN minutes! After many years traveling around the Mid-West Leigh moved to Florida where he was hired by "An Evening At LaCage" in Orlando. "I went to audition for the part of Dolly and was hired to do Patsy Cline!" While at LaCage Leigh added Stevie Nicks to the show. This was a first for LaCage because none of the other shows nation wide had a Stevie Nicks in their show. Before leaving the show Leigh had a chance to do the finale, "What Makes A Man A Man" in where he changes from a beautiful showgirl to a man right on stage.O ne of the most realistic roles to date is that of the Bette Midler. Leigh has blossomed into the Divine Miss M, the diva once described as one of the "raunchiest and funniest." As a single act or the host of his celebrity look-a-like show Leigh will take you on a journey of some of your favorite Bettes!
